Father’s Day at VACC
Village Avenue Community Church invited Rod Squad once again to display our cars and take part in their Father’s Day service this year. It was a beautiful, warm day and the cars gleamed in the sunshine.
The “Crusties” presented a couple of musical items with the help of the church’s band, and Shane brought an encouraging message about being transformed by the renewing of our minds. (Romans 12 verse 2)
The service was followed by a delicious morning tea, and an opportunity for everyone to walk around and check out the cars. One father had a dream come true by having a ride in one of the hotrods.
