Christmas Lights Cruise

Our Christmas Lights cruise was a great time for food and fellowship. We braved the early afternoon storm, and gathered at the Ipswich gangs homes for a meal of pizza while waiting for the sun to go down and lights to come on.

Worthy Causes

It is a key aim of our club to partner with other Christian organisations and support their mission and outreach projects. One of the ways we do this is by giving funds raised through club activities.

Great day at ‘Goin Country’

We were blessed with great weather for our “10th Anniversary Goin’ Country” run. After gathering at Tivoli drive-in for food and registration, we cruised to Amberley for a spectacular display of the fire fighting capabilities of two of the Panther MK II fire tenders, with four of our entrants riding along and operating the water blasters.

Wintersun Rod Squad Club Display

Wintersun 2010 was a great time for fellowship and a very public place to have a Christian presence. As people came looking at our cars, we had many opportunities to share something of what we are about and what Christ means to us. We even won a trophy for the best club display!

Off to Harry’s

Harrys Diner at Newmarket is a popular venue on Friday nights for Hot Rodders and some of Rod Squad members are planning to cruise there for a look on Friday 21 May – see you there.

Wintersun

A number of Rod Squad members have entered their cars in Wintersun over ther Queen’s birthday weekend. Look for the banner in the Goodwin Park on Saturday and sunday and come and say hi! We’ll be happy to chat.

Check our calendar for more details.

Christmas!

It’s a wonderful time of year for remembering the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ. We enjoyed celebrating with the folks at Hillsong Brisbane Carols, with our Rod Squad cars on display.
Looking forward to another great year ahead. Stay tuned for more runs and events.

Merry Christmas and God bless.
