Hillsong Men’s event – Mt Gravatt
Rod Squad was invited to the Hillsong Men’s event again this year. Only a small delegation from the club were able to make it, but there were plenty of other attractions as well – Monster Truck, Army tanks, race car, model aircraft etc. Food was available and the ‘Meat your maker’ burger was the favourite.
Over 1000 men attended, and after eating, there was a programme in the main auditorium where Brian Houston spoke about conquering battles and trials in our own lives. Wayne Alcorn challenged us to be men that make a difference in others lives to build them up and encourage them.
