Lowood in Winter
After our last visit which was a very hot day in summer, it was much more pleasant for the old folks to be able to enjoy being out in the sunshine, once again reminiscing about the past. One lady came and took the drivers seat of Teddy’s 1934 Buick, and she is 102 years old!
Most came out with walkers or wheelchairs, but this gentleman didn’t even have to get out of bed!
After sharing in morning tea with the residents, we cruised back to Wivenhoe dam for a BBQ lunch together.
Before heading home, we took a diversion to Ian’s workshop at Walloon to check out what’s been going down there.
