Old cars visit Old Folks at Lowood

We were welcomed back to the aged care residence at Lowood for the old folks to remember and reminisce about their early years.

Not long after we arrived, the residents came rolling out

Curly and Helen came all the way from the Gold Coast in the Model A for the run

Unfortunately it was very hot and the cars had to be on the bitumen where there was not much shade, so residents weren’t able to stay out too long in the hot sun.

The staff were thankful for our visit and want us to do it again – maybe in winter

Then it was off to Tarampa for lunch
