Rod Squad visits Shed 27
It was great to be able to take a look at how Shed 27 has continued to evolve into a multi facetted facility that is used every day to support different needs in the local community. They have a well equipped workshop with a number of projects on the go, some for customers and others that will be for sale when finished. Traction is another initiative that was started at Shed 27 and has now been set up in two other regions because of its success. Traction is a school based programme for students, providing an alternative to normal classroom learning. In this programme, students restore bicycles.
After our shop tour, we went for a cruise to Wellington Point, then back for yummy pizzas at Joes Pizzas at Capalaba.
