The other kind of Cruising
Our Christmas cruise this year was in a boat! We met together at Charles Holm Park, Hope Island for morning tea and lunch before heading to Sanctuary Cove for ‘the Cruise’.
15 club members enjoyed a 90 minute cruise on the Kilkie, a timber boat that has operated out of Sanctuary Cove since 1989. The Kilkie cruised the Coomera River passing the mansions on the canals down to Hope Island and back to the marina at Sanctuary Cove all the while listening to an informative commentary.
